On February 18, 2007, Raban Hanna Aydin and Rabban Daniel Malak Kourieh were ordained Metropolitans by by His Holiness the Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Zaka I Iwas at a solemn ceremony held at the St. Peter & St. Paul Cathedral in Maarat Saydnya, Damascus.
Rabban Hanna Aydin recived the name Mor "Julius" and Rabban Daniel Malak Kourieh Mor "Climis"
